Criteria For "Award For Excellence"

You must be the site owner or webmaster of the site!
Site must be in English or have English language version, "Sorry".
There should be a separate section on your web site for the awards won by your site.
Your site must not be just a list of links.
No part of the site is "under construction", including statements such as "coming soon", "picture will be added later", etc.
Less than five (4) pages with good content, not including welcoming pages, guest books, links pages, award pages, etc.
Internal broken links or missing graphics (unless it belongs to a counter, guest book, etc.).
Infringement on the copyright / trademarks of others.
Pornography, "adult pages", violence, profane language, discrimination and extremism of any kind or anything else that might be offensive to others or links to such sites will be immediate disqualification.
Pages that take longer than 2 minutes to load, using a 56K modem, including linked sites.
No Error messages such as "Can't find page", or "page does not exist", or "Not located on this server" as well as sites or pages that cause my computer to crash.
Pop-ups requiring input, or windows that have nothing to do with the site evaluated and open up on their own accord. I will take into consideration using a free server.
Forced automatic downloads of any kind. Also, if I need to download an obscure program to view the site or page properly (or hear the audio) (Standard programs like Flash plug-in not included), this will result in disqualification.
Effects like opening, closing or expanding circles, wipes, fades etc. except on opening the main page, unless they take less then 10 seconds to finalize.
A second reapplication within the 30 days waiting period after the date you applied for my award for the first time.

Criteria For "Awesome Site Award"

You must be the site owners, designers, and webmasters.
The prime concern of the judge is that the site has excellent content, a very nice theme. Do not submit a site that is purely a links site.
Please do not submit a site which contains or has links to sites that contain pornographic material, violence, drugs, prejudice activities, or other material that may be overly offensive. Must be Kid Safe!
Pages should be fast loading. I have a fairly fast connection so 5 minutes is way to long to load.
Your site should be easy to navigate so that your visitors don't get lost.
The use of pop up advertisements, consoles and any other form of automated process to show the visitor pages they didn't ask to see will not win you to many awards.
This might seem very extract but please check your spelling. Poor spelling shows a lack of "attention to detail" that is often mirrored in other site elements and with the amount of spell checkers available, there is no excuse.
Your site should be viewable in both Explorer and Netscape Navigator.
All graphics should be original or be identified as copyright material and refer back to the original owner if possible.
I will contact you within a week and let you know which award you won and place your site URL and name on the winners list page.

Criteria For "Great Animal Site Award"

Good website design
Not too many outside links/banners, etc
Proper credit given where credit is due!
Tasteful use of graphics or special effects!
Please make sure every link/graphic/photo works on your page! If they don't, no award will be given.
Must be unique! Have something that really stands out, either in content or style.
No obscene content in your website or any of those you have linked to within your website.
I will look at your website within "1" week and tell you if you qualified for one of these awards.
Your website will also be added to the winners list.
No Point System Just the above guidelines.

Good website design
Not too many outside links/banners, etc
Proper credit given where credit is due!
Tasteful use of graphics or special effects!
Please make sure every link/graphic/photo works on your page! If they don't, no award will be given.
Must be unique! Have something that really stands out, either in content or style.
No obscene content in your website or any of those you have linked to within your website.
